FCP Napa Ranch Tour 2015
Have you ever been on a farm? A great way to learn more about agriculture is to connect with a farmer and visit a farm in person or virtually. This is a list of online farm tours and information curated from a variety of known sources across the internet (national and local government sites, extension, other avenues). It is not inclusive, and if you are aware of others, please contact us so that we may review and consider adding to our list.
The Academy and FCP are not responsible for the content on each website. Our purpose is to find tours that are posted publicly and organize them to ease the process for you to learn more about any/all types of farms or ranches. Because individual needs and interests vary as much as farms and ranch do, our goal is to help you learn more about all types of agriulture.
We’d love to hear from you! Please email your ag chair, Kim Kirchherr, with any thoughts or additions to our list. Since it is a core belief at FCP that all agriculture is important and has a role in a sustainable food system, we left these inaugural lists open to include as many types of experiences as possible.
As we collect information about how this list is used by you, our members, we can continue to refine it over time.
Thank you – and #thankafarmer
